Equipment Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for maintaining equipment inventory, including packing photo equipment for events and keeping all equipment organized and accounted for at all times. This position requires the use of our inventory tracking system. This position works closely with other departments to ensure all assignments are prepared correctly. This position works closely with the Events and Photography Teams to keep track of what equipment is needed and to ensure there is enough equipment for all assignments. Deliveries are coordinated with the Production Team. This position is goal-based and the hours depend on the workload.

RATE OF PAY: $20 per hour

HOURS:

Hours worked will be based on volume of assignments and projects assigned. Time of day worked will be based on assignment needs and equipment return times. Must be flexible with availability.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• The most important requirement: Extreme attention to detail. If you are a detail-oriented person, this job is for you. If details are not your thing, then this job will not be a good fit.
• Are you an organized person by nature (perhaps friends or family have commented on how organized you are or have tried to hire you to organize their life);
• Self-directed, ability to work independently and as a member of a team;
• Ability to multitask and to determine and act on critical priorities;
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds;
• Ability to enter data accurately and consistently;
• Ability to stand for the majority of your shift;
• A cheerful, can-do attitude;
• Experience working in a PC environment;
• Ability to maintain own transportation throughout employment;
• Ability to follow directions;
• Ability to pass a background check;
• Must have a valid CA driver's license and a clean driving record

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Production/Lab Work:

• Computer logging
• Delivery coordination
• Order entry
• Order form prep
• other duties as assigned

Equipment Management:

• Assigning equipment weeks in advance and coordinating equipment rollover
• Packing equipment and loading vehicles for events and on-site photography
• Check-in/Check-out equipment to staff
• Track equipment (Maintain inventory)
• Maintain a clean and organized equipment storage area and warehouse
• Equipment maintenance and repair for in-studio and on-site equipment
• Responsible for ensuring all photography equipment is in good working order
• Setting up and tearing down satellite studios
• other duties as assigned
