Our name, “AuST,” represents the gold (Au) standard (ST) and reflects our commitment to excellence in everything we do.

Position Overview: We are seeking an Equipment Duplication Engineer to join our Custom Automation Development Group, which designs and builds in-house custom fixtures and automated equipment to support the manufacturing of cutting-edge medical products.

This role is focused on replicating existing equipment to support the company’s growth and scalability. While it does not involve original design work, there may be limited redesign or refinement based on lessons learned from previous builds. The role includes hands-on electro-mechanical assembly, testing and debugging, project coordination, and technical leadership responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate logistics for custom-manufactured parts
  • Assemble mechanical systems using 3D models as reference
  • Route electrical wiring and pneumatic tubing within machines and control cabinets
  • Fabricate, adjust or modify mechanical components as needed
  • Test and debug mechanical and electrical systems to ensure proper functionality
  • Supervise and guide technicians during equipment builds and installations
  • Manage project timelines, ensuring equipment builds are completed on schedule and aligned with production needs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with 3D models and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Basic understanding of electrical and pneumatic systems
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Experience managing or mentoring technicians is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with shifting objectives and tasks
  • Abilities to plan under limited supervision the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a task
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Benefits:

  • 401(k) with matching
  • Dental insurance
  • Health insurance
  • Life insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Vision insurance

Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may be required to perform other related duties as requested to meet the ongoing needs of the organization. If you meet the above requirements and are looking for a challenging opportunity in equipment maintenance, we encourage you to apply. We offer competitive compensation packages, benefits, and opportunities for career growth within our organization.
