Overview:
Equipment Manager
Pay: $65,000 - $75,000 + bonuses + a competitive benefits package
Hours/Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Location: Lacey WA or Modesto, CA
General Summary: The Equipment Manager manages the daily operations for equipment procurement, tracking deliveries and warranties for Harbor Wholesale customers. The Equipment Manager manages equipment vendor selection, procurement, selling and profit management of equipment sales. This position requires a positive, can-do attitude and a representative who is progressive in their thinking and has the ability to develop, guide and own an initiative from conception to execution.
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
- Formulate departmental business plan and implement tactics for equipment selection, pricing, promotion and delivery logistics to maximize equipment sales, customer retention and profitability.

Build relationships with foodservice equipment vendors/manufacturers in order to negotiate optimal pricing.

Process all customer equipment orders from Harbor sales teams, including coordinating foodservice equipment orders for Harbor Foodservice programs.

Create and execute purchase orders and contracts for equipment sales.

Track equipment warranties and resolve customer warranty issues.

Address product quality issues and field related problems in a timely manner.

Attend company, vendor and industry functions to maintain the skills required to meet our customers’ needs and expectations on technical developments, product introductions and trends, etc.

Conduct him / herself in a professional and courteous manner in all aspects of interactions with customers, vendors and colleagues.

Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Substantial self-motivation, independence, and self-reliance

Knowledge of foodservice equipment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing

Problem-solving skills
Education and Experience:
- HS Grad; some college coursework preferred

Experience in the sales of foodservice equipment

Highly proficient with MS Office/Outlook
License and Certifications:

Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance
