Equipment Operator

Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Equipment Operator. This position supports all yard operations including, but not limited to unloading incoming trucks (wood), jockeying trailers, loading rollers for Pendu, and any other job designated by Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Operate a front end loader and possibly yardtruck .
• Manage the operation of yard with accepting incoming loads, rearranging inventory as needed.
• Complete paperwork for incoming wood that is available to cut.
• Jockeying trailers to meet the needs for shipping
• Keep yard free of debris, banding, firewood, risers, sawdust, plastic and snow.
• Load sawdust trailer as needed

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge of construction equipment including front-end loader operations.
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong understanding of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation on construction sites.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Must be able to multi-task, be able to prioritize duties.
• Must be able to work in varied temperatures.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
