Equipment Operator

The Marquette County Solid Waste Management Authority (MCSWMA) is seeking a full-time equipment operator for its daily operations at the landfill facility. The qualified applicant will be assigned to the daily landfill waste processing operation. The individual will operate and maintain the landfill waste processing equipment. The candidate shall possess written and oral communication skills, analytical skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. Schedule: Monday – Friday 8 hour shifts (typically 7:00 am to 3:00 pm)

Ability to commute or relocate: Able to commute reliably or relocate to Marquette Michigan

License/Certification: Valid driver’s license

Willingness to Travel: Minimal travel (training)

Pay: From $22.87 per hour
