Job Description

Equipment Operators are needed to work on construction jobs ranging from demolition, excavation, fine grading, and site utilities, and also needed to help run the sand and gravel plant. These positions are hands on. Looking for people who are motivated by daily challenges, take pride in their work, and want to get the job done right.

Primary Responsibilities & Duties

• Operate large and small excavators, rubber tire loaders, bulldozers, skid steers, loaders, and dingoes
• Complete daily equipment maintenance, including checking or adding fluids, grease, and clean tracks
• Willingness to help complete small labor tasks, if needed
• Interact professionally with customers and co-workers
• 40-50 hours per week; Year-round work
• For work at construction sites, company transportation from Main Office to project location daily

Requirements

• Equipment operator experience required
• For work at sand and gravel plant, mining experience preferred, but not required - if experienced as equipment operator but with no mining experience, company will train you using Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) guidelines and standards
• Clean driver’s license that can pass insurance background check
• CDL preferred, but not required (non-CDL drivers are encouraged to apply)
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including sitting, standing, reaching, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing)
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and /or holidays
• Ability to work in conditions with exposure to weather elements
