Job Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, bulldozers, excavators, skid loaders and the like to perform various construction tasks.
• Dig trenches know how to keep grade and communicate with ground guys to effectively complete projects.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with backhoes, bulldozers, excavators, skid loaders and the like.
• Familiarity with construction site operations and safety regulations.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with operating heavy machinery, including lifting and digging.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
• Valid driver's license; certification in heavy equipment operation is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
