Equipment Operator / Utility Pipe Layer – Water Leak Repair

We are looking for an experienced Equipment Operator / Pipe Layer to join our Utility Leak Repair Crew. Our team performs water line leak repairs and underground utility work throughout San Antonio.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating excavation equipment and assisting with water line repairs, with the ability to work safely around existing underground utilities. Pipe laying experience is strongly preferred.

Our work includes service line replacements, fire hydrant repairs, blow-off installations, valve repairs, and other water utility repairs.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as mini excavators, backhoes, and skid steers
• Assist with water line leak repairs
• Perform service line replacements
• Assist with fire hydrant, blow-off, and valve installations/repairs
• Install and repair water utility pipe and fittings
• Excavate safely around existing underground utilities
• Backfill and assist with jobsite restoration
• Follow all jobsite safety procedures

Preferred Experience

• Experience operating excavators or backhoes
• Experience working with underground water utilities
• Experience with service line replacements, hydrants, valves, or blow-offs
• Experience laying pipe
• Ability to work around utility locates
• CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) is a plus

Pay Competitive pay based on experience.
