Equipment Procurement Specialist - Oil and Gas

About the Role:
We are urgently seeking an experienced Equipment Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing and purchasing equipment for the oil & gas, electrical, and energy sectors. This role requires excellent negotiation, supplier management, and procurement strategy skills, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of critical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for oil & gas, electrical, and energy-related equipment.
• Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Prepare, issue, and evaluate RFQs, tenders, and purchase orders.
• Monitor supplier performance, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery standards are met.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships and market intelligence.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to align procurement with project requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.
• Track procurement KPIs and ensure continuous improvement in sourcing strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in equipment procurement, particularly in oil & gas, electrical, or energy sectors.
• Strong knowledge of global suppliers and markets in the relevant industries.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Russian and/or other languages is a strong advantage (Russian not mandatory).
• Proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
