The Equipment Sales Representative is responsible for managing the complete sales relationship with customers for the Enviro-Clean product lines within your area of responsibility – Western Oregon state and SW Washington state market. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be of high energy, creative and self-motivated! Someone who loves learning and is willing to develop the skill set needs to be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Identify existing and potential new customers.
- Visit assigned customers while maintaining current relationships.
- Work with the customers to design a solution that fully meets their needs.
- Provide timely and accurate quotes for responsible body and parts for products sold by Enviro-Clean Equipment.
- Assist in the delivery to the customer of products sold, complete customer familiarization and training.
- Follow up with the customer after delivery to confirm the equipment is working and the customer is satisfied.
- Deliver on goals and targets set to increase annual unit sales and budget.
- Follow up on body and parts orders to ensure that customers have been served properly.
- Be the first point of contact for your respective product line.
- Work with ECE management to determine the sales price to the customer.
- Learn the attributes of the equipment that has been assigned.
- Be able to explain and demonstrate the equipment.
- Work directly with the parts & service departments.
- Participate in regular team meetings to provide status updates.
- Submit weekly sales report/funnel.
- Liaise between service and parts departments to ensure timely and efficient processes.
- Collaborate with the logistics department to coordinate freight traffic as required.
- Responsible for maintaining the Salesforce database to keep current information on contracts including, job titles, work locations, phone numbers and email addresses of all relevant customer contacts.
- Record all opportunities for future sales in Salesforce.
- Participate in manufacture’s training, regional meetings and annual meetings as appropriate.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
- Provide general administrative support as required for various team members.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Requirements:
- Required: a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent plus vocational training or job-related course work.
- Required: Class B License for Demo and new truck Deliveries; Required within the nine months of date of employment / funded by company
- Preferred: Previous experience in Vocational Industry/Environment
- Preferred: Municipal experience
- Preferred: Customer Service, 2+ years
- Preferred: Karmak & Salesforce
- Preferred: Automotive or other mechanical knowledge
Skills:
- Preferred: Customer Success, Account management, or customer-facing role
- Automotive or other mechanical knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with CRM software is a plus.
