Equity Research Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Equity Research Analyst to conduct in-depth research on listed companies and sectors. The role involves financial modeling, valuation, market analysis, and preparation of research reports to support investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental analysis of listed companies (financial statements, ratios, business models).
• Analyze industry trends, macro-economic factors, and company-specific developments.
• Prepare equity research reports, investment notes, and presentations.
• Perform valuation models (DCF, PE, PB, EV/EBITDA, etc.).
• Track company results, corporate actions, and management commentary.
• Monitor stock performance and provide buy/sell/hold recommendations.
• Support senior analysts or portfolio managers with data and insights.
• Maintain research databases and update models regularly.
• Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations and internal research guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or MBA (Finance).
• Strong understanding of equity markets and financial statements.
• Proficiency in Excel (financial modeling & analysis).
• Knowledge of valuation techniques and accounting concepts.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)

• NISM Research Analyst Certification / CFA (Level I or pursuing).
• Experience with tools like TradingView, Bloomberg, Capitaline, Screener, or Refinitiv.
• Prior internship or experience in equity research or broking firms.

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹1,621,962.82 per year
