About the Role:

Veye Research Private Ltd. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Equity Research Analyst Intern who is eager to gain hands-on experience in analyzing stock market listed companies and assisting in the preparation of research reports. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for those looking to build a strong foundation in financial analysis, equity research, and report writing, with exposure to top-performing ASX-listed companies. The candidate will work closely with experienced analysts and be involved in key tasks such as financial modelling, research report preparation, and technical analysis.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Assist in analyzing key listed companies and sectors in the Australian Stock Market (ASX).

2. Support the preparation of research reports, including Daily Analysis, Stock of the Week, and Dividend Investor Reports.
3. Help in monitoring the performance of stocks and sectors using fundamental and technical analysis.
4. Assist in developing financial models (e.g., DCF, three-way modelling) and forecasting financial statements.
5. Gain exposure to communication with company management teams and internal sales teams.
6. Conduct research and assist in presenting findings through written reports and presentations.
7. Collaborate with senior analysts to analyze market trends and make recommendations.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Strong analytical skills with an interest in learning financial modelling and research report writing.
• Basic understanding of equity research and experience with financial statements, stock analysis, and financial markets.
• Familiarity with technical analysis tools such as candlestick charts, MACD, RSI, moving averages, and other market indicators.
• Ability to learn and apply concepts related to forecasting stock prices, financial valuation, and market trends.
• Good written and verbal communication skills with an ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, with a proactive attitude towards learning and improving.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• A keen interest in stock markets, financial analysis, and investment strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of financial markets and stock valuation methods.
• Previous exposure to stock market analysis or internships in financial research (preferred but not mandatory).

Stipend:

Between INR. 10,000 to INR. 15,000

Shift Timings:

7 am to 4:30 PM IST [1 or 2 hrs. early sometimes depending on work flow]
