Position: The Institutional Equity Hedge Fund Sales team is actively looking for a team member for the New York City office.

Responsibilities:

• We are looking for a mid-level to junior salesperson to work with several senior salespeople on the institutional sales desk in New York. You will be working closely with salespeople that are focused on the largest hedge fund accounts.
• You will be engaged in account organization and maintenance including client contact information, client interaction tracking and research subscriptions.
• In addition, you will be helping clients with conferences, summits, corporate access and Equity Capital Market deals.
• This role will grow into writing up stock ideas and engaging with clients. We are looking for a self-starter who is motivated with high energy and a great attitude.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Ability to work under pressure with strong communication skills
• Good understanding/interest in finance and the capital markets(education, work experience or otherwise), and ability to socialize, sell and communicate with a large and diverse client base.
• Superb organizational skills
• Accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail in aspects of work product
• A resourceful self-starter, able to work autonomously and as team player
• Able to multitask efficiently and effectively
• Series 7 & 63 licenses preferred but not required
