Position Overview

The Odoo Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining the company’s Odoo ERP system. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in customizing Odoo modules, integrating third-party applications and ensuring the Odoo ERP system supports all business operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize and maintain Odoo modules to meet business requirements.
• Integrate Odoo with other applications.
• Collaborate with internal departments (Finance, HR, Procurement, Sales, etc.) to gather requirements and optimize workflows.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, workflows and user guides.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related issues promptly.
• Ensure data accuracy, system security and compliance with company policies.
• Conduct system testing, upgrades and performance tuning.
• Provide user training and technical support for Odoo modules.
• Stay updated with the latest Odoo features, community modules and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in ERP development with a strong focus on Odoo.
• Proficient in Python, PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, HTML/CSS and related technologies.
• Experience with Odoo frameworks, API integration and module customization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of business processes such as Accounting, HR, Inventory, CRM and Procurement is a plus.

To ensure success in this role, performance will be measured against the following KPIs:

1. System Development & Customization

• % of Odoo modules successfully customized and implemented on schedule.
• Quality of code (maintainability, adherence to standards, absence of major bugs).

2. System Performance & Reliability

• System uptime and responsiveness.
• Reduction in ERP-related incidents and downtime.

3. User Support & Satisfaction

• Response and resolution time for user-reported issues.
• User satisfaction rating after issue resolution or new implementation.

4. Process Improvement & Automation

• Number of business processes streamlined through ERP automation.
• Time savings achieved through ERP-driven efficiencies.

5. Documentation & Compliance

• Accuracy and completeness of ERP documentation.
• Compliance with company IT policies and data security protocols.
