ERP Lead

Position title: ERPNext Developer (Frappe Framework) — Junior (0–2 years)

Work schedule: Standard office hours (with occasional overtime by project needs)

Justification for hire (Business Need):

 Implement and maintain ERPNext customizations, integrations, and configurations

for multi-company setups.

 Support backend development, DocType customizations and workflow automation to

meet business requirements.

 Replace / supplement current resource capacity for active ERPNext rollouts.

Position summary (In Short):

Junior ERPNext Developer responsible for developing, customizing and maintaining ERPNext

applications using the Frappe Framework. Works on backend Python/Frappe code, DocType

design, server-side scripting, and participates in front-end templating where needed. Supports

multi-company configuration and basic integrations.

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop and customize ERPNext DocTypes, server scripts, and server-side logic

using the Frappe framework.

2. Create and maintain custom apps, hooks, and REST APIs for integrations.

3. Manage multi-company setup and configuration (chart of accounts per company,

intercompany transactions, user permissions).

4. Work with business analysts to translate functional requirements into technical

solutions.

5. Perform testing (unit and integration), bug fixing and deployment support.

6. Maintain technical documentation and contribute to user training materials.

7. Assist with database queries, backups, and performance troubleshooting

(MySQL/Postgres as applicable).

8. Participate in code reviews and follow version-control best practices (Git).

Must-have skills & experience:

 0–2 years experience in software development, with demonstrable hands-on

experience in ERPNext and/or Frappe Framework (projects, internships,

contributions).

 Proficient in Python and basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML/CSS.

 Familiarity with ERPNext DocType structure, Doctype fields, server scripts, client

scripts and fixtures.

 Experience with relational databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL), writing queries and

schema understanding.

 Basic exposure to multi-company ERP setups (configuration and data segregation).

 Knowledge of Git, deployment workflows, and basic Linux server ops.

 Good analytical and communication skills; ability to work with functional teams.
