ERP Manager (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central)

We are seeking an experienced ERP Manager to lead ERP implementation initiatives while supporting presales activities and business development efforts. This is a client-facing role that combines project leadership, solution consulting, business process alignment, and strategic ERP planning.

The ideal candidate has strong ERP implementation experience, solid business process knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership, sales teams, offshore engineering teams, and clients. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities（Japanese, English bilingual)

- Lead full-cycle ERP implementation projects from discovery through go-live and post-launch support

- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and resource allocations

- Manage project scope, risks, and client expectations to ensure successful project delivery

- Coordinate with offshore engineering teams to optimize task allocation and maintain development quality

- Participate in client discovery meetings and requirements workshops

- Support proposal development with solution design, high-level architecture, and implementation approaches

- Estimate project scope, timelines, and resource requirements

- Support RFP/RFI responses and client presentations

- Partner with Sales to help close ERP-related opportunities

- Translate business requirements into functional ERP configurations

- Advise clients on best practices across Finance, Accounting, Sales, Purchasing, and Inventory processes

- Align ERP capabilities with operational and financial reporting and management needs

- Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency

- Supervise internal ERP consultants and coordinate with external vendors

- Collaborate with global/HQ teams on cross-border ERP initiatives

- Mentor junior team members and help build internal ERP capabilities

- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), implementation readiness, client training, and system adoption

- Establish ERP governance and documentation standards

- Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements

- Drive adoption of Microsoft ecosystem tools, including Power Platform and reporting tools

- Travel occasionally to client sites to support testing, training, and implementation activities

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of ERP implementation experience

- 2+ years of project leadership or project management experience

- Experience participating in presales or solution consulting activities

- Strong understanding of Finance, Accounting, Sales, Purchasing, and Inventory processes

- Experience preparing project estimates and implementation plans

- Experience collaborating with offshore or distributed engineering teams

- Excellent client-facing communication skills

- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in or near Torrance, CA

- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed

- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

- Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

- Japanese language proficiency

- Experience supporting Japanese subsidiaries in the U.S.

- Experience in IT services or ERP consulting firms

- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform

- PMP certification or equivalent

- Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments

Compensation

- $90,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience
