Position Overview
This position is a technical resource for the ongoing development, implementation, and support of the Electric Mirror ERP systems and databases, and for all EM employees and operations supported thereby.
Essential Job Functions

Complete roll-out of Epicor 11 (Kinetic) and related tools/platforms, working with user groups across Operations, Sales, and Finance to leverage underutilized Epicor functionality and identify and resolve inefficiencies and bottlenecks

Provide ongoing user support of Epicor 11

Determine and develop opportunities for automation and standardization of existing processes and reporting

Recommend process improvements and Epicor configuration changes, and implement solutions upon Leadership approval

Development and maintenance of new and existing objects in the various application systems that the IT department maintains, such as Epicor ERP and intranet reports (using SSRS)

Work collaboratively with senior staff in the continuous development of embedded SQL queries within Microsoft Excel and SSRS reports for various company departments; creation of new reports with SQL data connections and/or Power Queries

Creation of new dashboard/pre-joined database tables

Automation of existing Excel spreadsheets via SSRS creation, where possible

Development of dashboards, reports, and objects using a new reporting/BI tool (to be determined – e.g, Power BI, Tableau)

Document processes and train users as needed

Troubleshoot technical issues and work with the team to resolve issues

Alignment with future AI and API integration
Requirements:
Required Education and Experience
-
Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or equivalent experience
-
4-5 years of experience working with information technologies and systems analysis; an integrated manufacturing environment is a plus

EPICOR 11 experience strongly preferred

Strong computer, hardware, software, and time management skills

Strong written and verbal skills

Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions

Strong understanding and working knowledge of the principles and practices associated with SQL databases, and queries and reports developed from those databases

Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems

Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills

Ability to work under pressure and under tight deadlines

Basic programming understanding

Basic knowledge for AI/API implementation
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Physical Demands

This is largely a sedentary role and requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
