Position: ERP / Inventory & Service Management Software Engineer

Experience: 3 to 5 Years

Job Type: Full-time | On-site (Chennai)

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on ERP Software Engineer to develop and customize our in-house software for Inventory, Stock, Service, AMC, Projects, and Spares Management using open-source ERP platforms.

This role focuses on internal system development (not client projects).

Key Responsibilities

.Customize and maintain open-source ERP software (Odoo / ERPNext)

.Develop Inventory, Purchase, Sales, Service & AMC modules

.Implement GRN / MRN / MTN workflows

.Manage serial number, spares & warranty tracking

.Create reports & dashboards for management

.Migrate data from Excel to ERP

.Provide user training and documentation

.Coordinate with internal teams for workflow improvement

Required Skills

.Python (mandatory)

.Experience with Odoo Community Edition (preferred) or ERPNext

.PostgreSQL / MySQL

.HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript

.Understanding of Inventory & Service workflows

.Strong problem-solving and documentation skills

Good to Have

.Manufacturing or engineering industry experience

.Linux server basics

.GST-aware reporting knowledge

.ERP customization experience (not just implementation)

Salary

₹35,000 – ₹50,000 per month (Based on experience & skill)
