ERPNext Consultant

We are seeking an experienced ERPNext Functional Consultant with strong expertise in implementing and managing the Finance & Accounting modules in ERPNext. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in ERP implementation, financial process mapping, accounting workflows, taxation, budgeting, reporting, and end-user training. The consultant will work closely with stakeholders to analyze business requirements, configure ERPNext finance modules, migrate financial data, and ensure successful deployment and support. Key Responsibilities ERPNext Finance Implementation Lead end-to-end implementation of ERPNext Finance & Accounting modules. Configure: Chart of Accounts General Ledger Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Bank Reconciliation Budgeting Cost Centers Fixed Assets Taxation & VAT Financial Statements Customize accounting workflows based on business requirements. Business Analysis Gather and analyze finance-related business requirements. Map existing accounting processes into ERPNext workflows. Recommend process improvements and ERP best practices. Data Migration & Integration Import opening balances, customer/vendor ledgers, and historical transactions. Validate migrated financial data accuracy. Coordinate integrations with banking systems, POS, payroll, or third-party tools. Reporting & Compliance Develop financial reports and dashboards. Ensure VAT/GST and local financial compliance requirements are implemented. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. User Training & Support Train finance teams and end users. Prepare user manuals and SOP documentation. Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting. Testing & Deployment Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing). Resolve functional issues during deployment. Support go-live activities and stabilization. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical / Functional Skills Strong knowledge of ERPNext Finance module. Understanding of: Accounting principles Financial reporting Taxation/VAT Budgeting and forecasting Experience with: ERPNext setup & configuration Financial workflows User roles & permissions Reports and print formats ERP Experience Minimum 2–5 years of ERPNext implementation experience. Successfully implemented Finance module in multiple projects. Experience in manufacturing, trading, retail, or service industries is preferred. Additional Skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple implementation projects. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or IT. ERPNext / Frappe certification is an advantage. Knowledge of SQL, Python, or Frappe framework is a plus. Experience with GCC VAT compliance preferred.
