Escalator Technician

Escalator Technician:

Responsibilities:

• Operate and control the movement of escalators in a safe manner

• Perform regular preventive maintenance.

• Perform regular inspections of escalators for any malfunctions or potential hazards

• Monitor and adhere to the schedule for maintenance and cleaning of escalators

• Assist individuals who require help when using the escalator, such as the elderly, disabled, or those with strollers

• Communicate with maintenance personnel and report any issues or malfunctions that need to be addressed

• Follow company policies and procedures related to escalator operation and safety.

• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner.

Requirements:

• Experience in operating escalators and knowledge of safety protocols

• Physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods of time

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Ability to do troubleshoot and perform maintenance on escalators

• Knowledge of emergency procedures and ability to respond quickly in case of accidents

• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

• Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing schedules

• High school diploma or equivalent education
