Duties

• Design detailed escape room layouts, puzzles, and thematic elements
• Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling storylines and visual concepts aligned with project themes.
• Fabricate custom props, set pieces, and scenic elements through fabrication techniques including sewing, painting, rigging, and interior design.
• Apply art direction principles and color theory to ensure cohesive aesthetics across all elements of the environment.
• Install lighting design and rigging to enhance atmosphere and visual impact of each room.
• Use power tools and construction painting techniques for finishing touches that elevate the overall experience.

Experience

• Proven experience in set design, production design, or interior design with a strong c
• Hands-on experience with carpentry, woodworking, heavy lifting, power tools, hand tools, rigging, fabrication or related construction skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3 year of experience designing Escape Rooms

- Must be computer literate and able to learn required software programs

- Must be at least 18 years of age.

- Able to work a flexible schedule during normal business hours, most importantly on the weekends. You must be able to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Work Location: In person

• Knowledge of lighting design principles and theater production techniques is highly desirable.
• Understanding of color theory and visual arts painting to create visually compelling environments.
• Experience working within a team environment on creative projects involving multiple disciplines such as interior design or production design is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an energetic approach to overcoming construction challenges while maintaining safety standards.
