ESL English Teacher

Seeking an experienced ESL tutor (W2 contract) to tutor students at their home. Area code 07627.

Tutor must have ESL experience as these students are foreign students who don't know English/have little knowledge in English.

Tutor will bring in his/her materials and tutor per the student’s learning style and needs.

BONUS: Able to teach ELA/addtional subject areas.

Teachers must:

Be certified and have at least one year of classroom teaching experience

Be able to work with students at their homes in the Bergen County area after school hours (schedule is flexible).

Be able to commute to the family’s homes.

Legally work in the USA (citizen/green card/valid working permit). We do not provide working permits.

Tutoring schedule: weekdays Monday-Friday (each student has a different schedule).

Additional information:

Qualified candidates will need to provide the following prior to hiring:

At least two references;

Teaching certificate and their degree in education

Tutors are required to hold a valid driving license and valid car insurance;

Tutors will be hired as employees (w2) and will be paid on a bi-weekly basis per the hours they tutor.

Candidates will go through an initial interview on Zoom;

Tutors will undergo background checks
