ESL Teacher

Borealis Language Academy has been providing intensive language courses at our two convenient locations in Charlotte since 2009. Our commitment to quality instruction and personalized care distinguishes us from the competition, allowing us to make a positive impact on our community.

WHO WE ARE SEEKING:

We are currently looking for motivated and professional individuals for immediate, part-time ESL teaching positions, primarily during evenings and/or weekends. Our teachers typically work between 3 and 20 hours per week.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Delivering English as a Second Language instruction to adult learners using effective teaching strategies.
• Demonstrating excellent classroom management skills.
• Consistently adhering to Borealis policies and guidelines.
• Encouraging and engaging students to maximize their English speaking time, fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.

DESIRED CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES:

• Education Level: Bachelor's degree
• TESOL/TEFL certification preferred
• MUST BE BILINGUAL (English/Spanish or any other language)
• Work Experience: Minimum one year of ESL teaching experience or willingness to undergo training.

Paid training will be provided, aligning with our specialized curriculum. We also offer free professional workshops to all instructional staff, along with competitive rates that may increase based on a consistent demonstration of reliability, quality, and professionalism.
