We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and inspiring students to develop their language skills. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, providing academic support, and mentoring students to achieve their full potential in English language arts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the diverse needs of students.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a respectful and productive learning environment.
- Provide academic advising and support to students, helping them set and achieve educational goals.
- Engage in copy editing and writing exercises to enhance students' writing skills.
- Mentor students through tutoring sessions, focusing on individual learning styles and needs.
- Collaborate with special education staff to accommodate students with diverse learning requirements.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding student performance and behavior management strategies.
Experience
- Proven experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
- Strong skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management are essential.
- Experience in mentoring or tutoring students is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
- Excellent written communication skills for effective copy editing and lesson documentation are required.

Candidates must have:
- a Bachelor's degree in education or any related field or
- any Bachelor's degree and current ESL/TESOL or TEFL Certification and/or CELTA
- native like communication skills
- a minimum of one (1) year of teaching ESL to an adults in a classroom setting
- authorization to work in the USA
