ESL Teacher (Mandarine/English)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field recommended
• At least 1 year of experience teaching English at the middle school level is required
• Strong passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love for English language and literature.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual (Chinese -English)
• Ability to create engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of students.
• Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and interactive English lessons for middle school students in an after-school setting.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Provide individualized support to students who may require additional assistance.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments.
• Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and achievements.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
