Espresso Bar Specialist

Black Kahawa Coffee is looking for a barista who:

• brings barista experience to present our East African coffee at a superior level.
• provides excellent customer-oriented hospitality.
• has experience in latte art and dailing in a La Marzocco espresso machine.
• is excited to work with our current team and help present our coffee experience at the historic corner of Broad and High street in downtown Columbus.
• is excited to work for a growing local company with the vision to bring people of different backgrounds together over coffee.
• has a desire to implement creativity and innovation.
• has the flexibility to work with in a start-up, new company environment
• has a "do what needs to be done" attitude to get things accomplished
• has availability some early mornings, some late nights, and some weekends

Responsibilities include: preparing hot and cold espresso drinks, signature syrups and cold brew; packaging retail and wholesale coffee orders; general cleaning and upkeep of workspace; taking out trash; helping owner develop systems to add to the continual improvement of the work environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
