Role Overview

The Director of Marketing will lead the vision, execution, and growth strategy of ESR’s brand presence across all platforms. This role is responsible for building awareness, driving engagement, securing sponsorships, and positioning ESR as a major force in extreme sports.

Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute a full-scale marketing strategy aligned with ESR’s identity and growth goals
  • Define and evolve ESR’s brand voice, image, and positioning
  • Identify opportunities to expand reach across digital, events, and partnerships

Content & Creative Direction

  • Oversee all content production (photo, video, social media, campaigns)
  • Ensure content reflects ESR’s high-energy, gritty, and authentic style
  • Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and designers to maintain brand consistency

Digital & Social Media

  • Lead strategy for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms
  • Drive audience growth, engagement, and viral content opportunities
  • Analyze performance metrics and optimize campaigns

Sponsorships & Partnerships

  • Secure and manage brand sponsorships (Monster Energy-level partnerships)
  • Build relationships with sponsors, athletes, and influencers
  • Create and execute co-branded campaigns and activations

Event Marketing

  • Plan and promote ESR presence at competitions, races, and live events
  • Oversee on-site branding, activations, and content capture
  • Turn events into high-impact marketing moments

Team Leadership

  • Lead and manage creative and marketing teams
  • Set goals, workflows, and performance expectations
  • Build a culture of innovation, speed, and accountability

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, branding, or creative direction
  • Proven success in building or scaling a brand (sports, lifestyle, or media preferred)
  • Deep understanding of social media growth, content strategy, and digital marketing
  • Experience with sponsorships, partnerships, and brand deals
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

Preferred Background

  • Experience in extreme sports, action sports, or street culture industries
  • Existing network within athletes, brands, or media in the space
  • Experience managing influencer campaigns and brand ambassadors
  • Understanding of visual storytelling (photo/video)

Pay: From $135,000.00 per year
