Estate Planning Attorney

A highly regarded North Carolina law firm with multiple offices statewide is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join its growing Asheville office. The firm is well-respected across North Carolina for its focus on estate planning, estate administration, probate, and elder law, and offers a collaborative environment with strong attorney and staff support.

• Large, experienced support staff providing excellent administrative and paralegal assistance.
• Strong reputation in North Carolina for delivering trusted client service in estate-focused practice areas.

Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on estate planning and estate administration matters, including the drafting of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents.
• Manage probate and trust administration cases from start to finish.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and legal guidance.
• Collaborate with fellow attorneys and staff to deliver high-quality legal services.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active license (or eligibility) to practice in North Carolina.
• Direct experience in estate planning or estate administration is required.
• Elder law experience is a strong plus but not required.
• Excellent legal research, drafting, and client communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range of $110,000 – $130,000+, depending on experience.
