Estate Planning Attorney

Are you a sharp hard-working attorney who is ready to handle sophisticated estate planning and administration? Established Jupiter, Florida firm is seeking attorneys who are compassionate, self-motivated and possess a strong commitment to stellar work and client service. Opportunity exists for a unique fast-paced advancement track.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Meet with clients, including high net worth, to understand their estate planning goals, family dynamics and financials and then counsel on strategies for wealth preservation and transfer and tax implications.
  • Create customized estate plans and charitable giving strategies, including Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts, SLATS, GRATs, Generation-Skipping Trusts, Special Needs Trusts, and ILITs.
  • Manage probate and trust administrations, including guiding clients and beneficiaries throughout the process, drafting court pleadings and preparing federal estate tax Form 706s.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar.
  • Must have minimum 2 years estate planning experience.
  • Exceptional skill in drafting and reviewing of high quality core and sophisticated estate plan documents.
  • Experience in trust and estate administration with probate and trust litigation experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and take responsibility for multiple and diverse client files from initial meeting through completion with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of professionalism, timeliness and accuracy.
  • Experience leading prospective and existing client meetings with ability to listen to build rapport and foster long-term client relationships.
  • Must be ambitious, motivated, hard-working and a self-starter.
  • High-level organizational and time-management skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Lawgic and Lexis Nexis.

Position is full-time, minimum 40 hours per week. Extended hours and weekends may be required to meet client needs and deadlines. In-house position.
