Job Summary

We are seeking an Estate Planning Paralegal to serve as our Trust Funding Coordinator, ensuring that clients’ estate plans are not only well-crafted but fully implemented. This role is ideal for a paralegal with estate planning experience who is detail-oriented, empathetic, and passionate about helping families successfully transfer their assets into their trusts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare customized funding instructions based on each client’s Asset Detail Report (ADR)
  • Guide clients through the process of retitling accounts, updating beneficiaries, and transferring assets into their trust
  • Monitor funding progress and follow up with financial institutions to verify completion
  • Witness the signing of estate planning documents, including wills and trusts
  • Coordinate the distribution of signed documents to clients and relevant parties
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys and paralegals to ensure funding aligns with the client’s estate plan
  • Maintain accurate records of funding progress and client communications
Requirements

  • Paralegal experience in estate planning required (trusts, wills, asset transfers)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Comfort handling sensitive documents and maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with legal practice management or CRM software is a plus
