Our firm provides comprehensive retirement planning solutions, including investment management, tax preparation, Social Security optimization, and income planning.
With multiple offices across South Carolina and a strong referral-driven advisory team, we are now expanding our services to include in-house estate planning—creating a rare opportunity for an experienced estate planning professional to build and lead this offering from the ground up, without the typical overhead or startup risk.

Role Overview
The Estate Planning Specialist will develop, deliver, and grow the firm’s estate planning services, working collaboratively with our advisory and tax teams to provide coordinated, conservative planning solutions for retirees and their families.
This role blends technical estate planning expertise with entrepreneurial initiative and community-facing leadership.
Key ResponsibilitiesEstate Planning Services
- Design and implement estate plans tailored to conservative retirees and families
- Draft and oversee estate planning documents such as:
- Wills
- Revocable living trusts
- Powers of attorney
- Healthcare directives
- Beneficiary coordination and legacy strategies
- Collaborate closely with financial advisors and tax professionals to ensure integrated planning
- Review and update existing estate plans as clients’ needs evolve
Business Development & Outreach
- Conduct educational estate planning workshops and seminars in the community
- Participate in firm-hosted events and client education initiatives
- Serve as the in-house estate planning expert for client meetings and advisor referrals
- Help shape and grow the estate planning division within the firm
Leadership & Growth
- Help establish processes, workflows, and best practices for the estate planning function
- Provide guidance to internal teams on estate planning strategies and considerations
- Contribute to the long-term vision and expansion of the firm’s estate planning services
Ideal Candidate ProfileRequired Qualifications
- Proven experience in estate planning (law firm, financial firm, or independent practice)
- Strong knowledge of estate planning strategies for retirees and high-net-worth families
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply
- Comfort working with conservative clients and values-driven families
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed attorney (JD) with estate planning experience (preferred but not required)
- Experience conducting workshops, seminars, or educational presentations
- Background working alongside financial advisors and tax professionals
