Estate Planning/Administration – Associate Attorney

Joseph, Greenwald & Laake, P.A. (JGL) is seeking an attorney for our estates and trusts practice group. We are seeking a motivated, organized, hardworking attorney eager to learn and gain valuable experience.

Qualifications:

• The successful candidate will have 0 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Must be licensed, or eligible to waive in, to practice law in the state of Maryland. Being licensed in the District of Columbia and/or Virginia would be a plus.
• Ability or desire to learn to administer probate estates in Maryland.
• Ability or desire to learn to draft basic and sophisticated estate planning documents including those that incorporate estate and income tax planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in legal research and writing.
• Works well with clients.

Candidates should be a member in good standing of the Maryland Bar, or eligible to waive in.
