JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBLITES

Legacy Probate International locates missing and unknown heirs to estates. We are seeking to expand the research department in our Delray Beach office and are looking for an Estate Researcher to join our company for the long term. The primary job of the Estate Researcher is to conduct the investigative and genealogical research necessary to locate, contact, and arrange contracts with heirs. Investigations are done personally, mostly online and by telephone. The Estate Researcher is also responsible for assembling genealogical charts which will be the foundation of the proof package that will be used in court to prove heirship for our clients. You will be responsible for a large caseload, so you must be able to stay organized and on task. Compensation is largely commission based, so your exceptional effort and performance is substantially rewarded. As our firm has low turnover and this position does not become available very often, this is a unique opportunity to become part of our tight-knit team.

QUALIFICATIONS

-Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts or Business/Finance preferred
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-Strong communication/sales skills
-Solid knowledge of geography and history
-Ability to multi-task
-Ability to work independently but also as part of a team as necessary
-Knowledge of a second language is not required but may prove helpful

HOURS

8:00 AM-4:30PM with a 30-minute lunch. Flexible hours may be considered depending on personal circumstances.
