Position Summary:

Village Fitness delivers a premier spa experience to members seeking relaxation, rejuvenation, and wellness. As an Esthetician, you will combine technical skill with a hospitality-driven mindset to provide personalized treatments that exceed member expectations. You will serve as a wellness ambassador, educating and guiding members while maintaining a polished, professional, and welcoming environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide professional esthetic services, including facials, chemical peels, waxing, microdermabrasion, lymphatic drainage, lash treatments, and other spa modalities in accordance with certification standards and spa protocols.
• Educate members on skin wellness, treatment options, and product recommendations while clearly communicating that advice is not medical guidance.
• Promote all spa services, wellness treatments, packages, and retail offerings to members with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and proper stocking of supplies.
• Adhere to all sanitation, sterilization, and safety standards in accordance with state regulations and spa policies.

• Manage linens and equipment, ensuring cleanliness, proper storage, and sterilization between sessions.

• Respond promptly and courteously to member inquiries, concerns, or requests, maintaining a high standard of hospitality.
• Accurately manage service billing and documentation by the end of each day.
• Support team operations, participate in staff meetings and training, and contribute positively to the overall wellness team environment.
• Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to enhance member experience and wellness operations.

Qualifications / Skills:

• Must hold and maintain a current state Esthetician license; additional certifications in advanced skincare modalities preferred.
• Minimum one year of professional esthetician experience required, ideally in a luxury, spa, or club environment.
• Thorough knowledge of esthetic modalities and techniques, including facials, chemical peels, waxing, microdermabrasion, lymphatic drainage, lash extensions, and other treatments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with a diverse membership.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance, demeanor, and commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adapt to club-specific protocols and member expectations.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to maintain high energy and stamina throughout multiple service sessions.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs for portions of the workday.
• Frequent bending, stooping, standing, and walking during service delivery.
• Manual dexterity and physical endurance to perform esthetic treatments for extended periods.
