Commission: Starting at 30% of services (Example: Classic Facial $125 x 30% = $37.50) and 10% of retail sales.
If you are a more seasoned esthetician bringing your own clientele, commission rate can be negotiated.

REQUIRED DAYS: FRIDAY-SUNDAY

This is a by-appointment-only position, meaning there are no set in-studio hours outside of scheduled clients. Employees are only required to be present for confirmed appointments and necessary setup/cleanup time. Team members are paid a commission per service, and total compensation will always meet or exceed New Jersey’s minimum wage for hours worked. Schedules are confirmed 48 hours in advance, allowing each artist to plan accordingly.

Position Expectations & Requirements

This position is for a licensed esthetician who is passionate about skincare, client education, ethical treatment recommendations, and creating real results for clients.

At Radiance Atelier, we value long-term client trust and relationships over aggressive sales tactics. We are looking for someone who genuinely cares about helping clients feel confident in their skin while maintaining a luxury, professional, and welcoming environment.

Applicants must:

• Be a licensed esthetician in New Jersey
• Have a minimum of 1 year of esthetics experience
• Be available weekends (required)
• Be confident performing dermaplaning
• Be able to perform waxing services
• Have strong professionalism, reliability, and communication skills
• Be comfortable performing consultations and educating clients on skincare/homecare
• Have a passion for continued education and professional growth
• Be comfortable creating and participating in social media content
• Have a professional esthetics-focused social media account showcasing their work
• Be confident in their treatments, knowledge, and professional position as an esthetician
• Be comfortable working independently and running the studio without direct supervision
• Be able to properly process client payments, enforce studio policies, and charge applicable late/no-show fees when necessary
• Maintain consistent communication with management regarding clients, scheduling, concerns, and studio operations
• Participate in weekly team meetings/check-ins regarding clients, services, concerns, studio growth opportunities, and collaborative ideas
• Be capable of maintaining professionalism and strong client experience standards even when working alone
• Be self-motivated, organized, and dependable

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with GlyMed skincare products
• Familiarity with Circadia skincare products
• Experience with advanced treatments such as chemical peels, hydrodermabrasion, microcurrent, LED, and nanoinfusion

Social Media Expectations

Social media and marketing are an important part of growing the studio and attracting clientele.

• Team members are required to post at least once per week on social media featuring their work, treatments, educational content, or studio-related content

Compensation & Employment Structure

• Full-time opportunity
• Starting commission structure:
• 30% commission on services
• 10% commission on retail sales
• The first 3 months will serve as a probationary period under 1099 contract work
• During this probationary period, performance, professionalism, reliability, communication, client retention, and overall fit within the studio will be evaluated
• Opportunity to transition to W-4 employment based on consistency, professionalism, performance, and book fill rate
