Esthetician / Acne Specialist - active acne a plus!

Clear Day Acne Clinic is Sacramento's first and only skin clinic focused specifically on acne and "problem" skin. Located in a medical plaza south of Land Park, approximately ten minutes from downtown Sacramento, we are a small team of results-oriented skin care experts, clearing acne and building clients' confidence treatment by treatment. We estheticians, not a med spa, yet our results speak for themselves.

We are seeking to another team member to join us and become one of our acne and problem skin experts. In this position, you will learn advanced techniques for dramatically clearing clients' skin of acne and other skin conditions - no prescriptions needed. In our peaceful clinic environment you will enjoy:

• No walk-in appointments
• Regular hours 10:00am - 6:30pm Tu-Fri
• No weekend hours, and every weekend is 3 days
• No laundry

• Your own dedicated treatment room with computer and internet access
• Paid training in the Face Reality method and other skin-clearing methodologies

Duties

• Perform facial treatments on clients with mild to severe acne within the scope of training utilizing company protocols
• Research independently to set a course for your growth as a specialist
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area and restock rooms, linen, and storage
• Safeguard client information and confidentiality
• Educating clients about acne and related skin disorders
• Treat the skin globally, from nutrition and makeup to skin care products and peels
• Light receptionist duties including checking clients in and out
• Be the "face of the company" when dealing with general inquiries via phone, email, and occasional walk-in correspondence
• Attend staff meetings and training

Qualifications

• 1+ year esthetician experience preferred
• Proof of Current California esthetician or cosmetology license OR exam date
• Positive attitude, good work ethic, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift 20 pounds (moving quantities of skin care product)
• Ability to hit the ground quickly and learn to follow an established acne skin care protocol
• Active acne a plus!
