Esthetician and Nail Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide professional skincare treatments including facials, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, body waxing, and hair threading to meet individual client needs.
• Perform nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, and nail extensions with precision and attention to detail.
• Apply eyelash extensions and hair extensions to enhance clients’ natural beauty while ensuring safety and sanitation standards.
• Deliver expert hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, and styling for special occasions.
• Educate clients on skincare routines, product recommendations, and retail options to support their beauty goals.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace in compliance with health regulations and industry best practices.
• Upsell products and services confidently by understanding client preferences and promoting appropriate treatments or retail items.
• Stay current with industry trends such as color theory, new techniques in esthetic laser treatments, and advanced nail care methods to provide innovative services.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology license or esthetician certification recognized by state or local authorities.
• Proven experience in skincare treatments, nail care, eyelash extensions, and hair styling.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety protocols essential for client health.
• Strong communication skills to effectively consult with clients about their desired outcomes.
• Ability to perform multiple services such as body waxing, dermabrasion, hair extensions, and barbering as needed.
• Familiarity with retail sales techniques including retail math and upselling strategies to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Basic understanding of color theory for makeup application and hair coloring techniques is a plus.
