Esthetician and Wax Specialist

You'll play a key role in driving studio success—through expert service, thoughtful retail guidance, and building lasting client relationships—while helping elevate our team through training support and seamless appointment flow.

Core Functions

• Execute full-body waxing services, including Brazilian, bikini, leg, arm, facial, and underarm treatments according to established protocols
• Conduct pre-service consultations and skin assessments to ensure client suitability and safety
• Maintain treatment room cleanliness and sanitation in compliance with state regulations and studio standards
• Build and maintain client relationships to support retention and referral generation
• Recommend and promote retail products aligned with client needs
• Support studio operations, including appointment management and inventory maintenance
• Participate in ongoing training programs and skill development as assigned

Requirements

• Licensed Esthetician in the state of Texas
• Minimum 2 years of professional waxing experience with demonstrated expertise in full-body and intimate waxing services
• Experience in shaping, tinting, and laminating eyebrows
• Effective communication and luxury customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and comfort
• Professional appearance in accordance with studio dress code and grooming standards that support client confidence and comply with sanitation requirements

Compensation

$13–$16/hour + service commission + tips + retail incentives

Schedule

R Waxing operates Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (closed Sundays). This role requires availability across varying shifts, including evenings and Saturdays, based on client demand and studio needs.

Physical Demands

This role requires being physically active for extended periods, including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 30 pounds. You must be able to use your hands to operate tools and equipment, have good near vision, and demonstrate strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Additional Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with esthetician services
