Esthetician & Peer Trainer

Job Summary
SweetHeart Brazilian Wax is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Wax Trainer & Quality Control Specialist to lead the development, training, and performance standards of our esthetician team. This role is responsible for training new hires from the ground up, maintaining consistent service quality across all locations, and ensuring all waxing specialists adhere to SweetHeart standards, procedures, and state board regulations.

Training & Development

• Train new estheticians in hard wax, soft wax, and sugaring techniques from beginner to advanced levels
• Provide hands-on instruction for both female and male waxing services (full body, intimate, and facial areas)
• Develop and implement structured training programs, protocols, and service techniques
• Shadow estheticians during services to provide real-time coaching and feedback
• Conduct ongoing education and skill-building sessions for existing staff

Quality Control & Performance Management

• Perform routine quality control evaluations on all waxing specialists
• Conduct Quality Control Calls (QCC) to assess client satisfaction and identify areas for improvement
• Monitor service consistency, timing, technique, and client experience across all locations
• Identify performance gaps and implement corrective training plans
• Ensure all staff consistently meet SweetHeart service standards and expectations

Operations & Compliance

• Enforce strict adherence to state board sanitation and safety standards
• Train and audit proper room cleaning, setup, and turnover procedures
• Ensure all estheticians follow SweetHeart protocols for client interactions, professionalism, and aftercare education
• Maintain consistency in booking efficiency, service timing, and workflow standards

Team Leadership

• Support hiring efforts by evaluating candidate skill levels and conducting practical assessments
• Assist in onboarding new hires and ensuring readiness before taking clients independently
• Provide ongoing mentorship, accountability, and performance feedback
• Collaborate with management to improve team performance and client retention

Travel

• Travel between all SweetHeart Brazilian Wax locations as needed to support training and quality control

Experience

• Minimum of five years professional experience in waxing with demonstrated mastery of various techniques.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy related to skin and muscular structures for effective treatment application.
• Proven experience in teaching or training adult learners within a classroom or practical setting.
• Hands-on expertise in multiple esthetic disciplines including hair removal, facials, makeup application, nail care, and hair styling.
• Familiarity with advanced aesthetic procedures such as laser treatments, dermabrasion, trigger point therapy, and deep tissue massage is highly desirable.
• Strong lesson planning skills with the ability to adapt content for diverse learning styles.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Esthetician (required)
• Advanced experience in hard wax, soft wax, and sugaring techniques
• Strong experience performing services on both male and female clients
• Proven ability to train, coach, and develop estheticians
• Strong knowledge of state board sanitation and safety regulations
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on consistency and client experience
• Ability to travel between multiple locations

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
