Esthetician/Front Desk Receptionist

(Prefer Chinese speaker!!!) Esthetician/ Front Desk Receptionist position requires a variety of skills, including excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, multitasking, organization and time management. Estheticians are responsible for performing all spa treatments and services to customers in a pleasant environment, while upholding high standards in sanitation, health and safety. They offer advice on skincare products and can give educational treatments such as facials. Aestheticians are also expected to promote products and services, maintain sales ledgers, complete paperwork and keep accurate records of their work schedule. The main objective is to help customers achieve healthy skin based on the latest beauty trends.You will be the first and last impression on the client beginning with the phone call and ending with them leaving after a completed service. A kind person with a positive energy and the ability to multitask is required.

Responsibilities:

• Performing all duties on Millennium Software and two other programs.
• In charge of booking clients for their massages, facials, waxing and/or body treatments.
• Greeting clients and providing a ready attitude to help with their needs.
• Answering the phone with a professional and friendly tone.
• Must be ready to problem solve when dealing with difficult issues.
• Will have to file medical forms.
• Perform data entry.
• Work to satisfy and continue relationships with clients.
• Maintain a smooth and functioning work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clients with a relaxing and satisfying skincare experience.
• Ensure clients are comfortable throughout the treatment.
• Brief clients on how to care for their skin and encourage regular visits.
• Conduct a consultation to discuss treatment options with clients, including the cost of the treatment.
• Maintain cleanliness of work space and apply disinfectant throughout the day as necessary.
• Provide clients with relaxing music, eye masks and neck wraps to enhance their experience.
• Monitor the level of treatment chemicals and ensure they are at appropriate temperatures.
• Prepare products according to manufacturer’s instructions before treatments are given..
• Cleanse, exfoliate and mask clients’ skin.
• Remove dead skin cells, treat acne and unwanted hair through chemical peels, microdermabrasion or waxing techniques.
• Apply creams and serums that contain active ingredients like vitamins, antioxidants or sunscreen.
• Massage muscles, tissues and joints.
