Hours

We are looking for an esthetics instructor on Monday and Tuesdays from 9am-9pm to teach both our morning, and night program.

Duties

• Deliver engaging classroom instruction on esthetic topics including facials, body waxing, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and aesthetic treatments
• Develop detailed lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and industry best practices
• Demonstrate hands-on techniques such as waxing, facials, eyelashes, and advanced techniques such as dermaplaning and microneedling
• Assess student progress through practical evaluations and written assessments, providing constructive feedback to support growth
• Maintain a safe and professional learning environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
• Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new techniques like trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage into lessons
• Support students in developing their portfolios and preparing for licensing exams

Experience

• Proven classroom experience teaching esthetics or related beauty disciplines
• Extensive knowledge of skincare treatments including facials, dermabrasion, aesthetic laser procedures, and body waxing
• Hands-on expertise in advanced esthetic techniques like eyelash extensions, makeup application, and waxing
• Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development tailored for adult learners in esthetics or cosmetology programs
• Familiarity with adult education principles to effectively engage diverse student populations
• Certification or licensure in esthetics or cosmetology is mandatory; ongoing professional development is encouraged
