Esthetics Instructor (Part-Time Weekend)

Schedule:
Friday 4:00 PM – 9:45 PM
Saturday 8:15 AM – 5:00 PM
Sunday 8:15 AM – 5:00 PM
Approximately 23 hours per week

Premiere Aesthetics Institute is seeking a knowledgeable, dependable, and student-focused Esthetics Instructor to support our Meridian campus on a part-time weekend schedule. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in both theory and practical esthetics, guiding students through hands-on procedures, supporting skill development, and helping maintain a positive, structured, and professional learning environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver engaging theory and practical instruction aligned with Idaho licensing requirements
  • Teach core esthetics subjects, including skincare, facials, hair removal, makeup, and sanitation
  • Demonstrate esthetic procedures and provide hands-on guidance during student practice
  • Evaluate student performance through exams, quizzes, practical assessments, and ongoing feedback
  • Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and professional classroom environment
  • Support student readiness for state board examinations through review, demonstration, and guided practice
  • Monitor student progress and provide individualized support as needed
  • Support classroom management, student engagement, and adherence to school policies
  • Assist with classroom cleanliness, equipment readiness, and supply organization
  • Complete required documentation accurately and on time, including attendance, grades, evaluations, and skill check-offs
  • Communicate with the School Director and instructional team regarding student needs, classroom concerns, and program updates
  • Assist with compliance-related preparation, audits, or on-site reviews as assigned
  • Model professionalism, ethical conduct, and strong communication in all interactions

Qualifications – Two Pathways

Pathway 1: Licensed Esthetics Instructor (preferred)

  • Active Idaho Esthetician Instructor License

Pathway 2: Eligible to Become an Instructor (we will train you)

  • Active Idaho Esthetician License
  • At least five (5) years of esthetics experience within the last seven (7) years
  • Must either:

o Pass the instructor licensing exam within 30 days of hire, or

o Provide 12 college credits in education, speech communications, psychology, or sociology

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of esthetics theory, techniques, and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professionalism, reliability, and passion for student success
  • Prior teaching or training experience is a plus, but not required

Preferred Additional Background
Candidates with prior front desk, administrative, or campus operations support experience are encouraged to apply. While this position is primarily instructional, additional cross-functional flexibility is a plus in supporting weekend campus operations.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements
This role works in an educational setting that includes classrooms, student spa, and administrative spaces. The position requires regular interaction with students, instructors, clients, and staff, along with the ability to stand for extended periods, demonstrate esthetic procedures safely and effectively, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
