Estimate Writer (Xactimate Proficient) – Part-Time

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Estimate Writer with proficiency in Xactimate to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately preparing insurance claims estimates, primarily focusing on property damage assessments. Your expertise will help streamline the claims process, ensuring clients receive fair and precise evaluations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with strong automotive or insurance estimating backgrounds to leverage their skills in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed property damage estimates using Xactimate software, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Review repair scopes, photographs, and claim documentation to develop comprehensive estimates.
• Collaborate with adjusters, contractors, and clients to clarify scope of work and estimate details.
• Maintain organized records of all estimates and related correspondence for audit purposes.
• Update estimates as needed based on additional information or client feedback.
• Ensure all estimates comply with insurance standards, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Assist in resolving discrepancies or disputes related to estimates or scope of work.

Responsibilites

• Write and revise estimates using Xactimate
• Strong proficiency in Xactimate (required)
• Previous experience writing insurance repair estimates
• Understanding of property damage and restoration processes
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• Strong written communication skills
