About The Opportunity

We are seeking an Estimation & Design Engineer to join a fast-paced project delivery team responsible for converting architectural and MEP drawings into accurate, tender-ready cost estimates and buildable designs. You will play a critical role in pre-construction cost planning, Control Pannel, rate analysis and providing technical support to project teams during execution.

Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, Manufacturing, and cost estimates from architectural and engineering drawings for commercial and interior fit-out projects.
• Review drawings and produce design/check drawings, shop drawings and material schedules to ensure constructability and cost optimisation.
• Develop rate analysis, vendor material comparisons and tender submissions; coordinate with procurement for competitive quotations.
• Use CAD/BIM tools to extract quantities, maintain estimation templates and update standard rate databases to improve estimation accuracy.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, MEP engineers and site teams to resolve design queries and validate scope during execution.
• Support variation claims, change orders and post-contract cost reconciliation with clear documentation and measurement records.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Electrical Engineers only
• Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering or Automation with relevant estimation experience.
• Hands-on proficiency with AutoCAD and advanced MS Excel for take-offs, rate build-ups and cost modelling.
• Electrical Engineering Background.
• Quantity takeoffs and commercial estimates for building / fit-out projects.
• Familiarity with structural analysis tools (STAAD.Pro) or equivalent for basic design checks.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, workmanship rates, site execution processes and vendor costing.
• Ability to work on-site across project locations in India and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience with Revit / BIM-based quantity extraction and model coordination workflows.
• Exposure to commercial estimation software or tender management tools.
• Formal training or certification in Quantity Surveying / Estimating or construction management.
