Job Title: Estimation and Technical Engineer (Mechanical)

Location: Riyadh

Job Summary:

The Mechanical Engineer will support the bidding and estimation team by preparing technical assessments, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates for water features, pools, fountains, and MEP-related projects. The role requires good technical understanding, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with the bidding manager, BIM modelers, and engineers to deliver accurate and timely proposals. Short professional experience is acceptable.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents for mechanical scope.
  • Prepare quantity take-offs, material lists, and cost estimates for bidding.
  • Assist in preparing technical proposals and compliance documents.
  • Coordinate with BIM modelers and the estimation team to update quantities and designs.
  • Identify technical requirements, project risks, and clarification needs.
  • Support in requesting quotations from suppliers and evaluating offers.
  • Ensure all mechanical inputs are accurate and submitted within deadlines.
  • Maintain organized documentation for each tender.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in estimation, MEP, or relevant engineering roles.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
  • Basic understanding of MEP systems; knowledge of water features or pool systems is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or BIM tools is a plus.
  • Professional Arabic Speaker, with good command of English.
