Estimation & Billing Engineer for Commercial interior Projects

Sarayan Architects is looking for a dynamic and passionate estimation engineer with proven expertise in estimation , BOQ and billing for large office interior designing and renovation works.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Degree/ Diploma in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Interior Designing from an accredited school.
• 5+ years of experience in corporate Interior fit out designing & execution industry for large office projects
• Proficiency in Civil AutoCAD and BOQ estimation.
• Highly meticulous with ability to understand interior details, finishes and drawings.
• Knowledge of detailing & material specifications.
• Should be able to make civil, Electrical & HVAC, Bill of Quantities/estimation with relevant Item Rate Analysis.
• Knowledge of making material specifications.
• Preparation of tender document skills shall be a bonus.
• In-depth knowledge of material and specifications for Civil, MEP, HVAC works for large office projects.
• Ability to make Bills by ascertaining executed quantities on site as per specifications.
• Strong verbal and written (English) communication skills.

Job Role & Responsibilities

• Shall lead / be apart of the project team in estimation and execution, coordinating with MEP and other consultants, site inspection along with communication with client, contractor & management on a regular basis.
• Strong leadership abilities to manage team and projects.
• Knowledge of materials along with market rate analysis, availability of material, logistics etc.
• Good Negotiation skills for fair market rates.
• Strong vendor and contractor management skills.
• Possess strong knowledge of office interior design concept, details, working concepts, HVAC, electrical and BOQ estimation.
• Strives for innovation and applies creativity and clarity in thought process.
• Should be a good listener to understand client’s budget, project needs and should be able to come up with a smart and workable solution with cost effectiveness.
• Able team player to work with all other project stakeholders effectively and mentor to juniors & other subordinates.
• Prioritizing and goal setting related to the assigned project work.
