Estimation & Design Engineer ( LV Switchgear Panel Board)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -

• Review tender/Approved documents, technical specifications, and project drawings for LV switchgear systems
• Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, labor, engineering, and overheads
• Perform technical evaluation and selection of LV switchgear components (e.g., panels, breakers, busbars)
• Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals in line with client requirements
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards (IEC, local regulations, etc.)
• Coordinate with design, engineering, and sales teams for accurate project costing
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and value engineering options
• Attend pre-bid meetings and client discussions when required
• Maintain estimation databases and historical cost records
• Support project handover to execution teams after award
• Experience in Eaton Ex-energy electrical system software/estimation tools
• Working Conditions
• Office-based with occasional site visits
• Coordination across multiple departments and vendors

REQUIREMENTS:-

• Bachelor’s degree/3 year Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3–4 years of experience in LV switchgear estimation or design
• Strong knowledge of LV switchgear systems and components
• Familiarity with international standards (IEC) and local electrical codes
• Experience with estimation software,AutoCad and MS Office tools (Excel in particular)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and single-line diagrams
