Estimation Director

We are seeking a highly accomplished Estimation Director with approximately 25 years of experience in the construction industry to lead our estimation function for major projects in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong Civil Engineering background, extensive contracting experience, and a proven track record delivering accurate estimates for mega-scale developments, particularly within hospitality and high-rise construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the preparation of cost estimates for large-scale construction tenders and projects

• Develop competitive pricing strategies aligned with project scope and commercial objectives

• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Provide strategic input on risk assessment, value engineering, and cost optimization

• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, and commercial teams during bid preparation

• Mentor estimation teams and establish best practices within the department

• Support contract negotiations and client engagement during tender phases

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred)

• Around 25 years of experience in construction estimation and commercial functions

• Proven experience delivering mega projects, especially:

– 5-star hospitality developments

– High-rise towers

– Large contracting projects

• Strong knowledge of the Saudi construction market, pricing trends, suppliers, and subcontractors

• Demonstrated contracting background is essential
