Estimation Engineer

Core Responsibilities

• Review project documents, drawings, and contracts.
• Prepare material, labor, and equipment quantity take-offs.
• Estimate project costs, including overhead and profit.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for quotations.
• Develop and manage project budgets.
• Identify risks and suggest cost-saving measures.
• Prepare bids, tenders, and proposals.
• Recommend value engineering alternatives.
• Collaborate with project teams and clients.
• Maintain cost databases and records.

Additional Responsibilities

• Track market price trends for materials and labor.
• Support contract negotiations with cost breakdowns.
• Participate in post-bid reviews and handovers.
• Provide cost advice during design and construction.
