Estimation Engineer

Windows is a professional responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, material take-offs, and technical documentation for projects involving aluminum, UPVC, wooden, or steel doors and windows.

Job Role Overview

The Estimation Engineer evaluates project drawings, specifications, and client requirements to determine quantities, costs, and timelines for doors and windows fabrication and installation.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Review Project Documents

2. Prepare Estimates and BOQs

3. Technical Coordination

4. Supplier and Vendor Management

5. Cost Analysis & Tender Preparation

6. Post-Tender Follow-up

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of door and window systems (aluminum, UPVC, glass, hardware).

Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.

Expertise in AutoCAD, Excel, and estimation software

Analytical and mathematical skills for cost computation.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Experience in aluminum & glazing, facade, or interior fit-out industry preferred.
